Course Description
Are you looking for work but need help? If yes, then this course is for you!
This course is designed around you and your employability needs. You will focus on everything you need to find a new job: whether it is another job within the same company or sector, a complete career change, your first graduate job, getting back to work after a career break, a job following redundancy or maybe you just want to update your skills just in case you do decide to change jobs.
Who is the qualification are for?
The OCNLR Level 1 Award in Employability is suitable for learners who are:
- Preparing to enter employment for the first time
- Unemployed and looking to improve their skills for a return to the workplace
- Anyone looking for help and support and a confidence boost with their job search
- People changing career
- People at risk of redundancy
- People who have been made redundant
- Graduates looking for their first job
- People who have been in the same job for some time
NOTE: Each unit has a Learner Assessment Workbook attached. The workbook is an interactive PDF document. Learners must complete the workbook and submit for assessment
Successful completion of all five Unit Workbooks will result in the achievement of the ‘OCNLR Level 1 Award in Employability’, a national qualification.
