Strengths Exploration


Research in positive psychology has shown that learning to use strengths in new ways can improve well-being. This involve identifying strengths, understanding how they are used, and learning new ways to apply them.
When suffering from poor self-esteem it can be challenging to think of even a single thing that you like about yourself. Of course, you do have positive qualities but you just have a hard time seeing them.
The Strengths Exploration worksheet, will identify your strengths, and then explore their roles in different areas of life (relationships, professional life, and personal fulfillment). You will think about ways in which you currently use these strengths, along with new ways you could begin using them.

We encourage you to regularly review and add new qualities as you think of them. This can be a good exercise to complete regularly, to really reinforce positive self-talk to build a positive self-image.
